To complete tasks and mark them as done is such an important matter due to the fact that every SDR wants to have its work movements organized and saved. In our platform, there are some use cases you need to know about the “mark as done” feature.
So, depending on the task type and the DateTime you do it, you’ll be able to mark as done or not. Let’s explain this:
- The prospect cadence tasks:
a) If they are overdue, they can only be marked when they are past tasks. Knowing that you should also learn:
1. If the last attempt from the company/lead is after OR the same day from the task scheduled date → 'When you complete this task it will be marked as Completed Overdue'.
2. If the last attempt from the company/lead is before or unknown from the task scheduled date:
- If it’s automated or mandatory, you need to make at least one attempt to mark it as done.
- If it’s not automated or is skippable, when clicked it should be marked as Completed Overdue.
b) If they are “to do” tasks…
1. If the task is automated or mandatory:
- If it’s past, you can mark it as done.
- If it’s today:
... and the last attempt from the company / lead is today OR future you can "Mark as done"
... and the last attempt from the company / lead is before OR unknown today you need to "Make at least one attempt to mark as done"
- If it’s future, you won’t be able to mark it as done.
2. If the task is not automated or is skippable you can "Mark as done".
- The scheduled tasks will be always able to mark as done, even if they are for the future.
- The meeting tasks will be always able to mark as done, even if they are for the future.
