Once this setting is done, you can reschedule both the meeting and the contact before meeting task at the same time. Go to the tasks feed and click on the dots and in edit activity. Change the date and remember to save changes. After rescheduling the meeting task, the contact before meeting task will be automatically updated.
In Account Settings > Preferences > General Settings you can also mark if you want the scheduled task to be generated on weekends or not.
