Dependencies - Field value dependencies

What is it?

In the dependencies tab, you can configure your layouts by editing the visibility of your fields.

How does it work?

To create and manage your dependencies, you need to have an admin account. Click on your user name and go to Account Settings.

There, go to Data Management, specifically to Dependencies.

You can edit and create field value dependencies and field dependencies. 

Let's see field value dependences here!

• Field value dependencies: Here you manage the visibility of values in your forms based on parent field values. That means, limiting their visibility always taking into account that you must respect the object's hierarchy. This tool allows you to establish which values appear in the different fields according to other previously selected.

There are some filters such as boject type, parent field, conditioning value or child field you can use to concrete the content viewed. 

You can add dependencies by clicking on + CREATE NEW DEPENDENCY. 

A bar will appear and you'll have to select an option for each picklist: parent field, conditioning value, child field and values to be displayed. Until you don't choose a parent field, the rest of the options will be blocked. 

Click on SAVE.

Once created, you can preview all of this in the Test your layouts at the top of the page.

You can edit or delete the ones you don't need by clicking on the pen icon. Then, if you want to delete it, click on the trash icon.
