How to create workflows

Follow

What is it?

They are a set of triggers that run based on specific criteria. Each workflow is formed by 3 elements:

  • Triggers: This is basically what fires the workflow to be executed. This could be as generic or as concrete as you want.
  • Filters: They help you to make your workflows more specific. More customizable based on the data model of the client.
  • Actions: After knowing what is the object and the information triggered, actions define what we should update and how we should update.

How does it work?

To access this section, you need to have Bloobirds' admin rights.

Create workflows

Go to My Playbook and select Automations from the left menu bar.

Create a new workflow by clicking on +CONFIGURE A NEW WORKFLOW. If you want, change its name. We recommend you to do it so it has a more specific one.

To activate it, the enable button must be marked. To be able to edit the workflow first you have to disable it, edit the changes and save them.

You need to set 1) an action that fires the workflow to be executed (when), 2) a condition (if you want), that means filter your workflow and 3) another action that defines what we should update and how we should update (then).

In the example below, we have set that: when a lead cadence stops and its buying role is equal to driver > a new specific cadence must start immediately on that lead.

Note! You can create workflows across objects.

Logs

To see the logs and correct those that are not working well, you have a logs tab.

Settings

This tab allows you to select if you want to trigger only once every object in the workflow and if you want to allow other users to edit the workflow.
