Buy a number from Twilio

Twilio is one of the phone service providers that Bloobirds works with, so you can make phone calls from our app.

Once you buy a phone number from Twilio -or any other service provider, you can add it to your Bloobirds app and start making phone calls.

How it works

Enter your Twilio user account.

On the left menu, click on the three dots and select Phone Numbers.

Then select Buy a Number from the left menu.

On the country search bar, type the name of the country you want to buy the number from.

Click on Buy and make sure the phone number has a Voice capability so that you can make and receive calls.

Additional requirements

Depending on the country regulations, before you are able to buy a number, you will be asked for additional information. You can find all the country regulations following this link.

This is the case of, for instance, Spain where you will have to submit a web form in order to buy a number. When you do so, select a Local number and make sure you request a Voice capability.

Twilio will notify you when the number becomes available, note that sometimes you are required to submit proof of residence in that country.

Set up

Once you have purchased the number, as a final step, go to Manage Numbers, Active Numbers, and copy the Webhook (POST) of the number you have bought.

Then click on the number you have bought.

And paste the Webhook on this section.
