What causes it?
These days it's more common to work from home and, as a result, you can be experiencing difficulties with the quality of your calls.
With several people using the same network, overloaded routers -and thus networks, can slow down your communications.
How can I solve it?
We would like to share with you some tips to improve your calls experience when working from home:
- Contact your internet provider, ask them to check your router connections, and assign you to the connection with less traffic.
- Concurrent traffic on the network also has an impact. Streaming services like Netflix, HBO, and file exchange use the same connection as the calls and will affect the voice quality. Therefore avoid using them during calls.
- Prevent your browser cache from getting overloaded by using an incognito tab on your browser when making calls.
