Types of contact

The different types of contact are classified according to the result of a contact attempt.

The objective of any SDR is to get in touch with a lead, when this happens Bloobirds will register as a result Correct contactThis triggers a status change of the lead and the company to Contacted.

Outgoing

This table presents the possible outcomes of an outgoing contact attempt. 
The result requires to be manually registered.
 

Call

These are the different results you can register on an call type activity:
  • None (if no result is specified)
  • Approach
  • Busy
  • Correct contact
  • Gatekeeper
  • No answer
  • Referral
  • Requested to call later

Email

These are the different results you can register on an email type activity:

  • Correct contact
  • Wrong contact

LinkedIn message

The result of a LinkedIn contact attempt needs to be manually typed on the LinkedIn Thread field. call results you can register on an email type activity:

Incoming

This table presents the possible outcomes of an incoming contact attempt from a registered lead.
If a lead has not been created prior to the contact attempt, Bloobirds will not register the contact attempt, nor the result.
 

Manually registered

In most cases, the user manually registers the outcome of the contact attempt on Bloobirds. 
These are the different results you can choose from.
 

Call

These are the different results you can register on an call type activity:
  • None (if no result is specified)
  • Approach
  • Busy
  • Correct contact
  • Gatekeeper
  • No answer
  • Referral
  • Requested to call later

Email

  • Correct contact

LinkedIn message

The result of a LinkedIn contact attempt needs to be manually typed on the LinkedIn Thread field. call results you can register on an email type activity:

Automatically registered

This applies when an incoming email or LinkedIn message from a lead are synchronised.

Bloobirds will automatically register them as a Correct contact and the status of the lead and company will be changed to Contacted.

In case the user considers that this is not a Correct contact, you will have to manually change the status of the lead and the company.

This can be the case when the incoming email was an out of the office from the lead.
