Set Chrome as default email launcher

Follow
In order for Gmail Launch to work properly, you need to have Chrome set up as your default email launch manager.

These are the steps to follow.

Chrome settings

Click on the Chrome menu icon on the top right of your navigator and choose settings.

Site settings

On the settings page, scroll down and click Advanced to access Google Chrome's advanced settings.

Click on the option Site settings.

Handlers

Scroll down and click on the Handlers section.

Ensure Allow sites to ask to become default handlers for protocols (recommended) is enabled.

Go to Gmail (mail.google.com) and ensure it is confirmed as a handler.

If gmail and calendar show as blocked, remove these settings.

Check changes

Go back to gmail on Google Chrome (mail.google.com) and check that you no longer see the handler icon on the URL bar, this means that the previous step has been correctly done.
